  5. Love sage! I grew some in our garden this year – so far it’s still making it through the winter! I don’t use it often enough though, in spite of that. This sounds perfect. Love the earthy mushrooms and the sage together.

  6. Thanks Alta! Sage might be my new favorite herb–I used it in savory pumpkin muffins and a turkey chili and they were both divine. I’m hoping to post the recipe next week!

  7. Made this chicken for dinner tonight. Overall very good. We used other types of mushrooms and more than the recipe called for, so I think they overpowered the sage. Very tasty and works very well with mashed potatoes!
