Dear Readers,
As we wind down 2010, I wanted to share some good news–while AK and I were away on vacation this week, he proposed! We were at Monticello in Charlottesville, VA (the site of our first trip together). As we stood on the “nickel side” of Thomas Jefferson’s house (pictured on the back of the nickel), I turned around to find AK on one knee. What a way to ring out 2010!

I was on a cloud for about 2 months after getting engaged, it was awesome!! But it is an emotional rollercoaster for sure! ( Especially a destination wedding!)
